Back in the 1850s a mysterious bronze tankard was unearthed in the village of Trawsfynydd (pronounced "Trouse-vin-nith"). Dating from around 100BC, the tankard is made from staves of yew and is covered in bronze - it's handle has an exquisite sinuous motif. For those with a passion for Celtic art, this ancient artifact is masterpiece. The Silver Trawsfynydd Pendant features the same sinuous motif crafted in rose gold with a superb 3mm blue cabochon sapphire at it's center. The pendant hangs freely on a 46cm (18") silver gold curb chain which is secured with a ring clasp. With a touch of rare Welsh gold, the Trawsfynydd Pendant carries the unique Clogau and Welsh Dragon marks. |
